Our VP of Public Relations is Rembrandt, the owner's Bichon Frise.  He's doing great, however, he's spending more time at home these days, keeping his brother, Blitzen, company.  He's the sweetest dog, who spends all of his waking hours trying to have fun.  He knows that he will have fun if everyone around him is happy, so he is very concerned about everyone's well-being.  For this reason, he's not much of a security dog.  He's loyal to no one, unless you're the party!

Rembrandt will make his appearance at Dahlia, now and then.  I know he'd love to meet every one of our customers, and give them the opportunity to fawn all over him!

This page is dedicated to dahlia's most loyal employee, Rembrandt!  He's a 7 year old Bichon Frise with the best personality.  He's all about making dahlia's patrons happy, and having lots of fun!

A typical day for Rembrandt.  .  .  .  Rembrandt usually wakens his household by barking "good morning" to the other dogs in the neighborhood.  This is quite disturbing to his fellow roomies, Blitzen - a miniature pinzer and Si and Ko, both of which are cats that are 5 years his senior.  After a hearty breakfast, some days, Rembrandt heads into work at dahlia.  He has come to expect an after breakfast treat from one of dahlia's floral artistes the minute he jaunts into the shop.  When he hears the door chime, he immediately stops whatever he's been doing and runs to greet dahlia's patron.  He especially likes it when the patron heads upstairs, because this means a wedding consultation which means he'll get a lap to sit on, and if he's lucky, the bride will leave her purse open with gum inside!

Boredom strikes.  .  .  . Rembrandt gets bored when everyone's hard at work and ignoring him.  So, he starts to rummage through the foliage and stems on the floor, looking for ruffage.  He, also, knows this will get someone's attention!  Or, if that's too much work, he'll try to find a nice bed of plumosus greenery(the soft, feathery kind) to lay down on.  By the end of the day, Rembrandt's quite tired and pretty much conks out wherever he can.  However, the moment his owner, Kristi, grabs her keys, he runs to the back door, and can't wait to go home to tell Blitzen, Si and Ko all about his exciting day, and    how much fun they missed out on!
